What sport do you participate in and how long have you done it for? How did you get into it?
I'm a Crossfitter! I've been doing Crossfit for almost 5 years now. I had a few friends who were doing Crossfit at the time and spoke very highly of it. I didn't know much about it but knew I wasn't ready for it. After a friend of mine who told me how Crossfit really was, I saw a groupon for a Box by my house and bought it. After the first class, I was hooked.
What's your most badass personal accomplishment when it comes to fitness?
The accomplishments I'm personally proud of are competing against the best in my sport and being able to hold my own. Crossfit is growing every year and keeps getting more competitive each year. I will keep shooting for my highest goal, California Regional and The Crossfit Games.
How do you train that's outside the box?
What I like to do to train outside the gym is: tennis, beach volleyball, hiking, swimming and baseball. Pretty much anything where I can soak up some vitamin D.
Do you have any rituals or routines when it comes to working out?
Consistency! Making sure my nutrition is on point to the same way I approach a barbell for a big lift.
